He was the second secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace from December 3, 2013, to September 16, 2015. On September 16, 2015, by the order of Sayyid Ali Khamenei, he was appointed as one of the individual members of the council. He was one of the officials responsible for the "National Internet" project and continues to serve as an individual member of this council.
