Komeil Khoshghadam Bagherzadeh, born in Mashhad, is a close relative of Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic. He is the son of Hassan Khoshghadam, who is the brother of Khamenei’s wife. Hassan Khoshghadam previously served as the Deputy Head of Radio at Iran’s state broadcaster (IRIB), later becoming the Vice President of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and Deputy for Supervision and Planning at IRIB.

Komeil has held roles in various technology and education-related companies, during which several major products were developed and released. One such product is Hamdam, a matchmaking application. This app was launched during his tenure as head of Tebyan Institute.

He has also participated in forums focused on cyberspace issues, including programs aimed at training "soft war officers" from among school students. At such events, he appeared in his capacity as editor-in-chief of Khamenei.ir, the official website of Iran’s Supreme Leader.
